Health and Community Services Ministries
The Health and Community Services have always reached beyond the church walls. Collaborations with the Salvation Army, local food banks, Knights Table, Community Health and Food Fair, Garage Sales and gift drives have met the needs of the community and beyond, including relief efforts for flood victims in the Philippines. Other initiatives include “Walk in the Cold” annually, and regular visitation to the Seniors Home.
The Health Ministry hosts Health Seminars like “RESTORE” with booths that offer opportunity for people within the church and around the community to have a deeper understanding of the health principles and how to live healthy lifestyles.
Every Christmas, the children and community services collaborate to plan gift-giving by wrapping shoebox presents to be given to kids in shelters, or refugees, and recently, personally deliver presents to children with incarcerated families.
